Differentiation of discrete lesions - case 50 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Left lobe, horizontal scan. There is a more hypoechogenic nodule in the ventral part of the lobe and a less hypoechogenic and more inhomogeneous lesion in the dorsolateral part of the lobe. It is worth to compare the borders and the margin of the large nodule and those of the small lesions; the latter have partly puzzle-like, partly blurred borders.
