Chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis - Case 78. (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Right lobe, horizontal view. The thyroid is echonormal with around 20% of echogenicity index. There is a hypoechogenic lesion with hyperechogenic granules in the lateral part. Most of the foci are larger than a microcalcification.
