Pap-smear, 400x.   Naturally we cannot exclude the possibility that a few intranuclear holes are invagination of the nuclear membrane, i.e. pathognomic inclusions. Nevertheless, the presence of vacuoles outside the nuclei argues for the possibility that most if not all of the intranuclear holes are in fact projections of these vacuoles.
