Clinical data: a 30-year-old man was referred for evaluation of a thyroid nodule detected on screening.
Palpation: a firm nodule in the left lobe.
Functional state: euthyroidism (TSH 1.38 mIU/L).
The lesion in question was located in the left lobe.
