Differential diagnostic of hyperechogenic discrete lesions in Hashimoto's thyroiditis - table 1
Lesion proved to be a nodule in a pathological sense
Hyperechogenic area corresponding to intact parts not or less influenced by thyroiditis
Compare the shape, the size and the halo in the two cases. The true nodule is more regular, larger than the lesion demonstrated in the right images, and displays an almost complete halo sign.
