Clinical presentation: A 51-year-old woman was referred for ethanol sclerotherapy of a nodule which had repeatedly refilled after three near-complete aspirations of the fluid.

Palpation: a soft nodule in the left lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 3.91 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the nodular area in the left lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 18x16x29 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: absent.

Intranodular vascularization: present.

Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
