Clinical presentation: A 40-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodule detected by the patient. Aspiration cytology in another institute resulted in AUS-FLUS (Bethesda 3).
Palpation: a not firm lesion in the right lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 2.40 mIU/L.
Lesion in question:
the nodule in the upper ventro-lateral part of the right lobe.
Additional information on the lesion
Dimensions (width x depth x length): 6x9x9 mm.
Taller-than wide sign present: present.
Intranodular vascularization: absent.
Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
