Clinical presentation. A 32-year-old woman was referred for the evaluation of a nodule discovered by herself 6 months earlier.

Palpation: There were two palpable nodules in the left thyroid lobe, the lower one was hard on palpation.

Laboratory test: TSH 0.87 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the nodule in the lower part of the left lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 19x18x22 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: absent.

Intranodular vascularization: present.

Pathologic adenopathy: present.
