Clinical presentation. A thyroid nodule in a 31-year-old woman had been followed for 4 years. The patient has noticed a rapid enlargement during the last 4 months.
Palpation: a not firm nodule in the left lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 0.67 mIU/L.
Lesion in question:
the nodule in the left lobe.
Additional information on the lesion
Dimensions (width x depth x length): 21x22x37 mm.
Taller-than wide sign present: present.
Intranodular vascularization: present.
Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
