Clinical presentation. A 65-year-old man was referred for evaluation of nodule which was described as `suspicious` on previous ultrasound report. The nodule was discovered on CT scan performed because of hoarseness.

Palpation: no abnormality.

Laboratory test: TSH 1.55 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the nodule in the right lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 13x12x19 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: absent.

Intranodular vascularization: present.

Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
