Thyroid cancers - case 401 (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Right lobe transverse scan. There is a small, hypoechogenic nodule with hyperechogenic granules in the lateral part of the lobe. Although these might be microcalcifications, the presentation of them is more close to non-specific granulations.
