The borders of the nodule - case 1115

Five years after the surgery (ultrasonographic picture 5b)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan

Left lobe, longitudinal scan. The yellow arrow points to a pulling in, which is probably caused by a scar. Dorsal to this scar there is a hypoechoic line, which divides the thyroid. This makes the appearance nodular. The dorsal spiculation marked with green arrow is the irregularity of the thyroid parenchyma and not that of a nodule.
