Right lobe, longitudinal scan. The nodule has halo. There are small hypoechoic areas outside the lesion which have no oncological significance. Such areas are also found within the nodule. These itself does not form a true nodule, therefore I would consider this lesion as a homogeneous, iso/hypoechoic lesion. However, in the absence of clear definitions, other may have on different opinion and would judge this nodule as a heterogeneous, dominantly iso/hyperechoic one.
