Clinical presentation: A 44-year-old woman was referred after discovery of a thyroid nodule and bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy, which had been preceded by pharyngeal infections.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Laboratory test: TSH 2.49 mIU/L.
Cytology was performed from the hypoechoic nodule in the right lobe and resulted in benign colloid goiter.
Diagnosis. Euthyroidism. Benign multinodular goiter.
Suggestion: ultrasound in two years.
