Clinical presentation: A 42-year-old woman requested evaluation of complaints suggesting hyperthyroidism. She has experienced headaches, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and occasional palpitation in recent months. She was treated for Graves' hyperthyroidism 3 years ago.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Laboratory test: TSH 2.33 mIU/L.
Diagnosis. Euthyroidism. Graves' disease in the past.
Suggestion: The complaints are not explained by a thyroid problem. Yearly TSH check was advised.
