Clinical data

Clinical presentation: Regarding patient' history, see previous study. At the last visit, FNA indicated papillary cancer. Thereafter, a modified right neck dissection and removal of the lymph nodes of the central neck region was performed. Histopathology disclosed 2 metastatic lymph nodes out of the removed 11. This time, six months after the surgery, the patient was referred for ultrasound examination.

Palpation: a mass in the lower pole of the left thyroid bed was suspected.

Functional state: TSH 0.08 mIU/L, FT4 24.8 pM/L, thyroglobulin < 0.1 ng/mL, anti-hTg 7.2 IU/mL on daily 125 microgram levothyroxine.
