PAPILLON COURSE on THYROID ULTRASOUND
Supplementum
In this section we present numerous case studies including 400+ high-definition videos of ultrasound examinations. The case studies partly serve the practice and partly the exam material is also based on these.
Case studies can also help us to get a real picture of the distribution of diseases. This is because cases that have been consecutively examined or operated are included here.
Currently available series:
Case studies of consecutive patients with thyroid nodules
In the thematic chapters, interesting, instructive and rarer cases are necessarily disproportionately overrepresented.
This series currently covers more than 60 complete case studies which are shown based on everyday frequency, i.e. in a real-life distribution.Case studies of 100 consecutively operated patients with papillary cancer
Currently, the first more than 80 cases are available with complete case history. The final histology was in all cases papillary cancer.
A working day in the thyroid unit
The first of these series presents case studies of all 26 patients entered our outpatient department on a single day. This serves the demonstration of the real-life occurrence of patients with thyroid disorders.
Studies of 123 consecutively operated patients
The title speaks for itself. In contrast to previous series, the final histological result is not given here. At least for now. These case studies are the basis of the exam.
Consecutive patients with the diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis
