Extrathyroidal spread - case conp 014 (ultrasonographic picture 3)

Medial part of the right lobe, transverse scan. There is a hypoechogenic lesion. The nodule has partly blurred partly lobulated/spiculated margins. The tumor abutment exceeds 50%, the capsule of the thyroid is discontinuous.
