Clinical presentation: A 67-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of nodular goiter which was discovered by her family physician.

Palpation: a hard nodule in the right lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 1.26 mIU/L.

Cytology resulted in benign colloid goiter.

Diagnosis. Euthyroidism. Benign nodular goiter.

Suggestions: ultrasound in two years.
