Clinical data

Clinical presentation: A 15-year-old girl was referred for a repeat aspiration cytology. Three months before the present examination, FNA of a nodule resulted in Bethesda 3, AUS category. The nodule was discovered on evaluation of fatigue.

Palpation: Both lobes were firm, no nodule could be palpated.

Laboratory tests: TSH 3.58 mIU/L, FT4 13.0 pM/L, aTPO 107 U/mL.
