Clinical data: A 58-yr-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter discovered on screening for 15 years. At the time of discovery, the largest diameter of the nodule was 10 mm.
Palpation: a not firm nodule in the right lobe.
Laboratory data: TSH 1.56 mIU/L.
