TIRADS - case 1286

Clinical data: A 50-yr-old woman was referred for evaluation of a mass in the thyroid which was detected on CT scan performed because of COVID-19 pneumonia. She has been treated in intensive care unit 3 months before the present visit. Except for fatigue, her complaints have already resolved by the time of the thyroid investigation.

Palpation: a firm nodule in the right lobe.

Laboratory data: TSH 11.2 mIU/L, aTPO above 1300 U/mL.
