The echogenicity of the nodule - case 104
Clinical data: A 64-year-old woman was referred for aspiration cytology of a nodule. On evaluation of hoarse voice which has been noticed for a couple of months, a multinodular goiter was detected. Laryngology did not reveal any abnormalities.
Palpation: Both lobes were firm and nodular on palpation.
Laboratory data: TSH 2.04 mIU/L, aTPO 90 U/mL.
