Clinical data: A 25-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a thyroid nodule detected on investigation performed because the patient planned to be pregnant.
Palpation: The right lobe was suspicious containing a nodule.
Laboratory data: minimally elevated TSH (4.80 mIU/L) and normal anti-TPO (1.1 U/mL).
