Lymphocytic thyroiditis - case 41 - part 2
Clinical data: A 62-year-old woman visited another clinic for follow-up examination. She was told harboring a suspicious nodule and aspiration cytology resulted in suspicion of carcinoma not otherwise specified. We met her 2 years ago when aspiration cytology resulted in Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
Palpation: A firm nodule was palpable in the left lobe.
Laboratory data: euthyroidism on daily 125 microgram levothyroxine (TSH 2.06 mIU/L).
