Clinical data: A 27-year-old woman requested a follow-up evaluation. She gave birth nine months ago. In the following months, she experienced significant weight loss, sweating, and a high heart rate. Symptoms significantly diminished by the time of the first study 2 months ago. Two weeks before the present exam, her complaints have recurred.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Laboratory data: TSH 0.01 mIU/L, FT4 51.6 pM/L, FT3 6.9 pM/l, TSAb 6.0 U/L.
