Clinical data: A 43-year-old woman has been treated for relapsing hyperthyroidism caused by Graves' disease for two years. Due to her familiar circumstances, the patient was unable to undertake surgery.
Palpation: Both lobes were enlarged and moderately firm.
Laboratory data: TSH 2.23 mIU/l, FT4 14,0 pM/l on daily 15 mg methimazole.
