Lymph nodes - case 1481
Clinical data: A 76-year-old woman was referred for aspiration cytology of a nodular goiter, which was detected on evaluation performed because of malignant melanoma. The latter was diagnosed in the left upper arm 4 months ago. Histopathology disclosed nodular form.
Palpation: The left lobe and the isthmus were enlarged and hard on palpation. Enlarged lymph nodes were also present in the left side of the neck.
Laboratory data: TSH 2.83 mIU/L.Â
