Operated thyroid - case 710 - part 2
Clinical data: A 21-yr-old woman underwent on total thyroidectomy due to recurrent hyperthyroidism a month ago. Histopathology disclosed diffuse goiter, focal lymphocytic thyroiditis. The patient had no complaints.
Palpation: There was a relatively large, painless mass in the left thyroid bed.
Laboratory data: euthyroidism on daily 125 microgram levothyroxine (TSH 0.87 mIU/L).Â
