Clinical data: A 52-year-old woman was referred for an evaluation of a thyroid nodule detected on ultrasound. She had mild neck discomfort for a month and visited the radiological department.
Palpation: The thyroid was neither tender nor firm.
Laboratory data: TSH 1.39 mIU/L, FT4 11.6 pM/L.
