Clinical data: A 64-year-old woman came to a routine follow-up. She has been operated on for Graves' disease for 6 years. Histopathology disclosed diffuse goiter. Three years later, a recurrent hyperthyroidism has developed. Since then, the patient has been taking methimazole because she did not accept the proposal for radioiodine treatment.
Palpation: no abnormality.
Laboratory data: TSH 29.2 mIU/L, FT4 6.28 pM/L on daily 5 microgram methimazole.
