Clinical presentation: A 38-year-old woman with a nodule causing complaints. She was a teacher and therefore the risk of palsy of the recurrent nerve had to be avoided. FNAC resulted in a benign lesion.

First row (ultrasonographic picture before sclerotherapy). There was a hyperechogenic nodule with the dimensions of 28x26x34 mm (width x depth x length).

Second row (6 weeks after the last session). The dimensions of the nodule were 19x17x24 mm (width x depth x length).

Third row (10 months after sclerotherapy). The dimensions of the nodule were 17x15x23 mm (width x depth x length).

Fourth row (5 years after sclerotherapy). The dimensions of the nodule were 19x16x23 mm (width x depth x length).
