Thyroid cancers - case 1631 (cytologic picture 5 - of another smear)

Wright-Giemsa staining, 400x.   Another solid nest, dispersed cells and nuclear debris. Such pattern can be observed in Hashimoto's thyroiditis, too. But the presence of metachromatic material does not correspond to thyroiditis.
