Pap-smear, 400x. Typical presentation of Hashimoto's thyroiditis: oxyphilic cell groups are surrounded with lymphoid elements. The only remarkable cytological sign of MALT-lymphoma was the presence of relatively large proportion of lymphoblasts. Nevertheless, this is absolutely not an infrequent finding in lymphocytic thyroiditis.
