Clinical presentation: A 71-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a thyroid nodule i the isthmus. The patient was evaluated because of diffuse complaints including wight gain, hypertension, headache, and hair loss.

Palpation: a not firm nodule in the isthmus.

Laboratory test: TSH 2.49 mIU/L, aTPO 12 U/mL.

Cytology of the lesion in question resulted in lymphocytic thyroiditis.

Diagnosis. Euthyroidism. Hashimoto's thyroiditis. A questionable lesion without oncological significance.

Suggestion: TSH and ultrasound in two years.
