Discrete lesion or nodule in Hashimoto's thyroiditis - case 26 (1048) (ultrasonographic picture 3)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. It is doubtful whether the hypoechogenic lesion in the middle part of the lobe is a nodule in pathological sense or not while the lesion in the lower pole presenting echogenic figures is probably a true nodule.
