Thyroid lymphomas - Case 7: large B-cell lympoma of
the thyroid
The smear of lymphoma was more cellular. The elongated projections of
degenerated tumor cells and the nuclear molding are characteristic
signs of lymphoma. The nuclei of anaplastic carcinoma are not larger
than those of lymphoma but are significantly more pleomorphic and
hyperchromatic.
