There is a hypoechgenic lesion in the central part of the right lobe. There are similar (green arrows) and more hypoechogenic (red arrows) areas outside the lesion. The lack of fibrotic changes and the size of the lesion favour that this is a nodule in pathological sense. To summarize: this lesion is a nodule with great probability. Cytology disclosed Hashimoto's thyroiditis. |
