This case illustrates the typical course of Graves' disease. Initially the thyroid is hypoechogenic and presents increased blood flow. Both the degree of hypoechogenciity as well as the blodd flow decreases over time. Moreover, the proliferation of the connective tissue frequently observed at hyperthyroid state disapeares over time.
