Clinical data

Clinical data: A 47-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter which was discovered by the patient hersef several years ago. The goiter did not causes any complaints nor the patient noticed any change in size. Recently, her collague was daignosed with thyroid cancer, therefore, the patient decided to request investigation.

Palpation: no abnormality. Indeed, the thyroid was not palpable, the whole neck was symmetrically thickened.

Laboratory evaluation: TSH 0.57 mIU/L, FT4 12.8 pM/L.
