Graves' disease - Case 18. (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Right lobe, horizontal scan. The thyroid is hypoechogenic. There are seven small hyperechogenic granules close to each other. Probably, these granules were determined as microcalcifications by the colleague who examined the patient formerly. In fact, neither the size nor the brightness of the granules corresponds to microcalcifications.
