Chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis - Case 38. (ultrasonographic picture 3)

Left lobe, horizontal scan. There is a relatively larger hypoechogenic lesion in the dorsal part of the lobe. Note the irregular, puzzle-like borders and several other similarly hypoechogenic areas within the lobe. This view is not decisive, but highly suspicious for Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
