Chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis - Case 39. (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan, color Doppler mode. No circulation can be demonstrated in the lobe. Several hypoechogenic lesions are present in the echonormal background. In most of such cases the thyroid is healthy, but the initial form of lymphocytic thyroiditis may be present in this pattern.
