Identification of the eosophagus in an operated thyroid

Left lobe, another longitudinal scan. This and the previous pictures are decisive: a pipe-like hypoechogenic lesion running along the dorsal surface of the thyroid - this cannot be other than the eosophagus. Note the importance of performing longitudinal scan during sonography.
