Differentiation of cystic thyroid lesions - Case 1579 (ultrasonographic picture 7)

Right lobe, horizontal scan - after aspirating 16 mL yellow fluid. The hyperechogenic figures in the ventral part of the lobe include both echogenic lines and granules in the image. However, in video record the lines might be a bit elongated granules. Therefore beside presentations of connective tissue, microcalcifications have to be also considered.
