Intranodular hyperechogenic figures - case 1669 (ultrasonographic picture 2b)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. There are figures in the back wall of the cystic areas caused by posterior enhancement, there is a granule which is clearly a comet-tail artifact (arrow) while the exact categorization of the hyperechogenic granules in the solid part of the lesion (arrowheads) is ambiguous: they might be either comet-tail artifacts or microcalcifications (arrowheads).
