Rare forms of thyroiditis - Case 9: Riedel's thyroditis

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. Among smaller circumscribed areas there is a larger hypoechogenic lesion on the dorsal and a smaller one on the ventral part of the lobe. These do not correspond to a nodule.  Note the irregular shape and the multiplicity of similar lesions.
