Pap-smear, 1000x.  Anisonucleosis and mild degree of pleomorphism can be observed. Even the latter has only limited significance in the case of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Note the presence of groove-like structure in one cell. It is only projection of the underlying cellular material and not the invagination of nuclear membrane.
