Pap-smear, 400x.   The dispersed cells with eccentric nuclei and abundant cytoplasm resemble those observed in medullary cancer. On the other hand the nucleo-cytoplasmatic ratio is significantly lower in oxyphilic cells. Moreover, the presence of microfollicles decides the question.
