Pap-smear, 400x.   Oxyphilic cells mixed with a few lymphocytes are shown in the lower cell group, while large, elongated cells can be seen above the follicular cells. These elongated cells are fibrocytes and fibroblasts. This is a rare finding and the misinterpretation of fibrotic elements as atypical follicular cells has to be avoided.
